Does this fit my current body?
Does this reflect the person I want to be right now?

If the answer to any of those is no, it’s time to say goodbye. Detoxing your wardrobe is a fresh start—and one you deserve.
2. Invest in Quality over Quantity
Fast fashion might feel tempting, but there’s something empowering about investing in yourself. Instead of filling your closet with quick buys, we recommend focusing on quality pieces that will last for years. Think versatile staples like a tailored blazer, premium denim, and timeless accessories. These essentials not only elevate your look but also speak to the thoughtfulness and intention you bring to this chapter of your life.
3. Discover Your Best Colors
Have you thought about how certain colors completely transform your look—and your mood? Finding your ideal color palette is a game-changer. Whether you’re drawn to earthy tones or jewel shades, sticking to colors that make you glow can simplify styling and make every outfit look intentional. Jen loves wearing mostly black with accents of ballet pink. Babe tends to wear head to toe off-white (or cream or winter white or barley.) Find a colour scheme you love!
We always recommend starting with neutral basics, then layering in pops of your favorite accent hues. And don’t stress about getting it “perfect.” Experimenting with shades can be fun! Over time, you’ll notice which ones bring out your best.

Nothing elevates an outfit more than the perfect fit. Even the most stunning piece can lack impact if it doesn’t fit your body well. That’s why we’re always saying, “Find a good tailor and don’t look back.” A few small adjustments—a hem here, a nip there—can completely transform your wardrobe. If you’ve got a blazer with sleeves that are a little too long or a dress that feels a bit boxy, tailoring can make all the difference.
5. Use Accessories Wisely

They pack way more punch than you’d expect. For us, accessories are where we love to play—because they’re often the easiest (and most affordable) way to breathe new life into your look.

Gone are the days of suffering through uncomfortable shoes just for the sake of fashion. We believe style and comfort should always go hand-in-hand—and luckily, there are plenty of chic options to make that happen. Good sneakers (White leather always works), ballet flats, and boots are some of our go-to choices. They’re stylish, practical, and still so on point.
7. Rethink Your Beauty Routine
While you’re upgrading your wardrobe, why not take a fresh look at your beauty routine too? Midlife often comes with skin changes, and evolving your approach to skincare and makeup can make a big difference. We’re big advocates of light, flattering makeup—a bold lip or well-groomed brows can work wonders. And as for skincare? Tools like ZIIP or Omnilux, as well as collagen-boosting treatments, are some of our personal favorites for maintaining a healthy glow.
8. Simplify Your Morning Routine
